IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS
It is with a very heavy heart the Board and Management of The Gate Theatre have decided that we must cancel the forthcoming run of The Little Foxes because of health and safety concerns for our audiences, staff and creative colleagues.
This is not the end for The Little Foxes and we are committed to bringing this wonderful production to our audiences at some point in the future.
If you have already booked tickets for the show our box office staff will be in contact. Covid-19 is changing our lives in so many ways and this will be a very difficult time for most people in the creative sector. As a not-for-profit theatre this is not a decision we have taken lightly and we are so grateful for your continued support at this unprecedented time. You may be in a position to donate your pre-paid tickets back to the Gate Theatre as a gesture of financial support to our much-loved theatre. We would be hugely appreciative if you can. Great theatre will prevail and we will be back in business as soon as possible.

The Little Foxes follows the avaricious Regina Hubbard Giddens, her fragile sister Birdy, and their ruthless family, who clash brutally in an effort to strike the deal of their lives. Set in Alabama in 1900, the great American dramatist Lillian Hellman based the plot on her own Southern family story. This chronicle of the dangerous power of greed is far from a sentimental look at a bygone era, with the play reflecting important issues of corruption and morality that face society in the 21st Century.
