The Gate Theatre is thrilled to announce a livestream of the hugely popular Poor, exclusively for secondary school students on Wednesday 25th March at 11am, kindly supported by basis.point.
As part of the Gate Theatre’s dedication to an Open Gate, there will be no charge for the live stream, and we hope that schools from all over Ireland will be a part of this unique theatrical event.
By breaking down financial and social barriers, this project reaffirms a shared belief that theatre—and the transformative power of storytelling—belongs to everyone.
Immediately after the performance, author of Poor Katriona O’Sullivan will be joined by director of the production and Artistic Director of the Gate Theatre Róisín McBrinn and Sonya Kelly for a discussion on the show, which will also be included in the livestream.
