About |
| The Gate Theatre is pleased to announce the next event in its Masterclass series. On Saturday 7 March, Roy Alexander Weise, director of Eureka Day, will present Finding Our Way.
Finding Our Way: In a climate that feels particularly volatile for all artists, it’s imperative to find a way – regardless – to continue the pursuit of creative expression, stay visible as artists in the ecology and skill up ready to enter the arena when the opportunities arise. We are offering 2 practical workshops offering core skills in Acting and Directing open to anyone with a basic level of experience in either. You can come to both or just one but will benefit from it all. We will later hold a discussion around artistry and business acumen: “How do you make Art your business?” And a general Q&A to finish. All attendees will also be given a ticket to the evening performance of Eureka Day, on Saturday 7 March. A jam-packed day of craft, action and empowerment for Black and Ethnically Diverse Theatre Artists in Dublin. These masterclasses will be FREE events.
Times: Both events will be approx. 2 hours. Acting masterclass: Begins at 10.00am Directing masterclass: Begins at 12.30pm
Location: Gate Theatre, Dublin. |
