What’s this?

THE GATE CIRCLE is a new initiative at the Gate, which gives individuals and businesses the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to the development of the Gate and its work.

The Gate Circle provides an opportunity for you, your friends, colleagues and clients to be moved and energised by Irish and international artists that are empowered to do their best work on the Gate stage.

We are inviting your support at a Grassroots level, or to become Gate Guardians, Groundbreakers or Gamechangers. Each individual tier provides opportunities to support the Gate and become guardians of the theatre’s rich legacy.

The support the theatre receives through the Gate Circle will help solidify the Gate’s status as a pivotal cultural force, and the theatre looks forward to developing meaningful relationships to amplify our impact locally, nationally and internationally.

GATE GUARDIANS

WHAT YOUR SUPPORT ACHIEVES:

As a Gateways Guardian you are making crucial impact in our shared community by supporting the Gate’s brand new community engagement programme, GATEWAYS. This programme is:

• Delivering meaningful engagement and tailored programmes for schools and community groups
• Establishing an adult and youth theatre group with members of the community
• Providing a key cultural asset for Ireland that aptly reflects cultural diversity and social inclusion.

GATE GROUNDBREAKERS

WHAT YOUR SUPPORT ACHIEVES:

As a Gate Groundbreaker you are spearheading the strategic growth, innovation and capacity building ambitions of the Gate Theatre, by:

• Facilitating the upgrade and restoration projects throughout the Gate’s building
• Implementing access and inclusion for all visitors with improved wheelchair access and additional ISL and flexible performances
• Supporting the Gate’s Sustainability Action Plan and implementation.

GATE GAMECHANGER

WHAT YOUR SUPPORT ACHIEVES:

A Gate Gamechanger will be making a lasting impact on one of Ireland’s most iconic 18th century theatre houses and ensuring its enduring legacy – nationally and internationally – for decades to come, by:

• Supporting the Gate’s capital campaign
• Heightening the Gate’s capabilities to meet twenty-first century industry standards
• Increasing the Gate’s footprint as it continues to play a defining role in Irish society.
