Archived: Vacancy: Bar Staff
The Gate Theatre is recruiting casual Bar Staff.
This role includes but is not restricted to the following duties:
- Open bar and set up for pre-show drinks
- Check float and change orders
- Serve drinks and take pre-interval drinks orders
- Clean up when show starts
- Prepare interval drink orders
- Post-interval clean-up of bar
- Stock shelves
- Prepare bar for after-show drinks
- Stock and clean bar for following day
- Cash up and balance credit card transactions
The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in theatre and the Arts and preferably have experience of working in hospitality/service. They should have a friendly and amenable persona and be a team player – able to remain polite and calm, with a professional attitude.
