We at the Gate Theatre respect your right to privacy and comply with our obligations under the Data Protection Act, 1988 (as amended). The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to outline how we deal with any personal data you provide to us while visiting our Site.

We retain two types of information:

1. Personal Data: This is data that identifies you or can be used to identify or contact you and may include your name, address, credit card details and telephone number. Such information is only collected from you if you voluntarily submit it to us.

When you visit our website you can do so without submitting any personal data. However, if you wish to receive our e-communications, book tickets, or purchase gift vouchers you will be asked to submit your name, address, phone number, email address and credit card details (only if making a purchase). This information is used to process your order and to provide you with the service you have requested.
If you have provided credit card details, these will only be used for the purpose of handling an individual booking or order.

You can change your preference for communication with the Gate Theatre at any point. You will be given the opportunity to opt-out of any direct email marketing campaigns, which we engage in from time to time. We do not market directly via phone or mail and your phone number, home, or business address will not be used by us for any marketing purposes.

Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
We will not disclose your Personal Data to third parties unless the third party is required to fulfil your order. Updating, Verifying and Deleting Personal Data You may inform us of any changes in your Personal Data, and in accordance with our obligations under the Data Protection Act, 1988 we will update or delete your Personal Data accordingly.
